Description

This is a part-time on-site role as an SMT Specialist at River Microelectronics in Thousand Oaks, CA. Day-to-day tasks involve operating and maintaining SMT machines to assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards while ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the assembly process.

  • Job type: Part-time, on-site
  • Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
  • Schedule: Day shift or shortened evening shift, 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM
  • Pay: Hourly, based on experience
  • Expected hours: Approximately 20 per week
Education

High School Diploma

Experience
  • 3 years in a manufacturing environment
  • 3 years' experience with SMT machine operation
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of the PCB assembly process
  • Perform SMT machine setup and production runs
  • Read and interpret BOMs, setup lists, and assembly drawings
  • Identify electronic component types, part numbers, and values
  • Document and report material and equipment issues
  • Follow safety procedures, policies, and process requirements

This role requires access to ITAR/EAR-controlled information. The successful candidate must be a U.S. person as defined by those regulations.
